Welcome! to the Montgomery County
(Ohio) Family and Children First Council's Community Indicators Web site.
Since 1998 the Family and Children First Council (FCFC)
has been collecting data on the health and well-being of Montgomery County and its
residents. The purpose is to track the progress the community is making on
improving the conditions for children, families, adults and neighborhoods in Montgomery
County.
These Community Indicators are grouped under the six
Outcomes that the FCFC uses to organize its work. These Outcomes -- listed
on the left -- capture the VISION of the FCFC that "Montgomery County is a place
where families, children and adults live in safe, supportive neighborhoods, care
for and respect one another, value each other, and succeed in school, the workplace
and life."
By clicking on each of the Outcomes you will see a
list of the related Community Indicators. Click each Indicator to get further
information. Under each Outcome you will also find links to Team Reports --
describing the work the Council is doing -- and to additional data analyses on a
wide range of topics called "Behind the Numbers."
Our hope is that this Web site is both useful and easy to use. Please let
us know what you think and what we can do to make it better. Send your comments and feedback
to indicators@fcfc.montco.org.
Thank you.
