Learn to Earn™ Dayton is a collaborative effort among agencies and institutions in the Greater Dayton area to ensure that every young person in the Dayton region is ready to learn by kindergarten and ready to earn by graduation. The FCFC, through its Young People Succeeding Outcome Team, is a key partner.
This effort is critical to develop the human capital and intellectual assets needed for economic growth in the Dayton region. Most importantly, the effort will help young people learn the skills needed to earn a sufficient income to support themselves and their families.
The Learn to Earn™ Dayton initiative has adopted a number of measures to guide its success along the Kindergarten – College/Post-Secondary continuum. Because these measures align with the work of the FCFC, we are making them available on this Web site under the Young People Succeeding Outcome. Some of these measures are identical with the FCFC Community Indicators and some of them are still being developed.
